EASE for Women: Economic And Social Empowerment

March is designated as Women’s Month. All over the world, March 8 is chosen as a day of action to look into the role of women, the challenges we are facing and what we can do to make the world a better place for women.

This year, the UN Women’s International Women’s Day theme is: “Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change”. The theme focuses on innovative ways in which we can advance gender equality and the empowerment of women, particularly in the areas of social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure.

#easeforwomen #IWD2019 #InternationalWomensDay

In line with the UN Women’s 2019 International Women’s Day (IWD) theme, Stichting Bayanihan organized a forum that has successfully brought together organizations and individuals that strive for a better treatment of women in the society. The forum took place in Rotterdam on March 2 with the theme:

“Together let’s build EASE for Women: Economic And Social Empowerment”

02 March 2019 (Saturday) 13.00-17.00 hrs

@Stichting Dona Daria, Gerard Scholtenstraat 129, 3035 SJ Rotterdam

This forum has been opened to all gender and gender orientations because we believe that working to improve the lives of women, it should be inclusive. The speakers discussed the different aspects of the theme and much of the forum were devoted on sharing and discussions of experiences and solutions to challenges facing women, particularly as Filipinas in the Netherlands.
